April’s Triumph: Celebrating Christ’s Resurrection and Our Salvation

The month of April is here already, It’s the month that we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  There are two facts in the word of God that secure our salvation.

  1. Christ died on a cross for our sins.
  2. He rose again on the third day.
 
1 Corinthians 15:3-4 “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”

Thank God we serve a risen saviour.  Our sins are not only forgiven but we’ve been made the righteousness of God in Christ.  Now we have a right standing with God our Father.  Learn to enjoy your relationship with him.  He died and rose again so we could live and spend eternity with him.  Now we will never have to experience hell because he defeated death and hell for us.

Revelation 1:18 “I am he that lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore. A-men, and have the keys of hell and of death.”
