SHOWER OF BLESSING

The month of April is here and they say that April showers bring May flowers. We have already had showers and floods. It made me think of what God’s word says about both.
Since Church Alive is on a hill I want to show you what the word says in Ezekiel 34:26 “And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.”
Those are the kind of showers that we can expect from God this month, showers of blessing. Now let me show you what the word says about the believer when the floods come.
Matthew 7:25 “And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it did not fall, for it was founded upon a rock.”
David said in Psalm 62:6 “He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defense; I shall not be moved.”
These are scriptures by which we can live. We can expect showers of blessing from God. His word is truth.
